Shock Relocator

anyone with a 250x or 300ex with a shock relocator with 400ex shocks and aarms...can you please tell me how long the top sqaure tubing is i have a piece sittin in the garage jus waiting to be cut...as soon as possbile thank you very much!

my 250x came with 400ex shocks and a arms.it DID not have shock relocator brackets.i always read that you needed them but not on mine,go figure.:confused:

with out using relocator brackets and using 400ex shocks you are gonna throw ur geometry off more than just the 400ex a-arms setup already does. on mine i had works to make a custom set of shocks 14.75 inches long that mount up to the stock shock mounts. this is the most reliable and best way to go for geometry but just by using 400 arms u are already messing it up by haveing ur tie rods at an accward angle. i have this set up and love it myself but it does come with alot of bumpsteer but i also ride motocross it would be excelent for the weekend trail rider.
