Aight well im down to either a 250r, which i have always wanted one, or a YFZ. If i get the 250r, i could probly get a decent one for around 3 grand, with a few aftermarket things on it, and have a little money left over, if i get a yfz, im either going to have to borrow, or save up a few more months and hope i find one for 4500 or under (which i have seen a few) then i wont be able to ad anything to it for a while at least.
So should i go with the stock YFZ, or save 1500 bucks and get a 250r? I know the 250r will require more maintnence but i dont mind.

If you have never had a two stroke you need to buy the two stroke you will aboustley love the power band! And since the are becoming a thing of the past you are actually buying a investment!

Yea thats what i was thinkin, plus with all the 450s out, i could probly find a pretty tricked out 250r for a good price, and with the 450, its gonna be all stock for a while.

for trail riding, i would suggest one if the 400cc quads. from my experience with riding a yfz, and others ive heard say, the yfz isnt that great for trail riding. the riding position can be uncomfortable after a while and the ride height is more set up for track conditions. although i love my 250r's they can be a hassle to mantain and over kill IMO for trail riding. the 250r can foul a plug on the trail and with the powerband can get away from someone who is experienced or not.
quads like the 400ex, and the z400 are a better choice IMO, the powerband is smooth and userfriendly, and so is the seating position and handeling. both can also be made competative onthe track. the 4 stroke will be easier to ride, not as picking with jetting and electric start, the new 400ex and the z400 both have reverse now, something that could be nice in the trails.

people can agree with me or not but i feel quads as powerful as the 450r, and yfz shouldnt be used for trail riding.

Quadude- i already have a truck

My450r- the only reason i haven really been lookin for a 450r is becuase most i have seen are still pretty expensive, and iv found a couple of yfzs for around 4500, which would be the most im going to spend.
