Anyway to make these new CF shock guards work?

I Have 400ex works tripple rates w/o ressies and I want to see if there is a way to make these new shock shaft protectors work on my works? Maybe the ones for PEP since Pep orginaned from works?:confused:

I have a set of lower spring retainers that will work on those shocks and are made to hold the carbon fiber covers.
