My winter project is comming to an end. It's been a long project but I think it came out pretty good.

Just waiting on a tie rod so I can mount my rack and pinion steering unit, and obviously cut down the steering staft then take her for a spin.

Just thought I'd show you the ony and only 400ex with a 5 point harness

looks like you neeed a wider axle or something, also that thing will be slower than the normal ex. usualy people put vw bug motors in buggies and stuff, sometimes even small tacoma motors.

oh well, it will still probably be fun.

My buddys got a cbr600 he is going to build a go cart from. Im just waiting for him to scrape up enough money for tubing. He has the tank, wiring harness, and every thing. He just has to buy spindles and tubing. I have extra a-arms and shocks.

Yeah it is actually. We had the same problem with our brake too. The throttle used to get suck wide open too...man was it fun.

Ralph-your right it will be slower...right now. But I live in NH, there's not many places to go wide upen except for fields and frozen lakes. Plus everything feels a heck of a lot faster when your butt is 5 inches off the ground.

Chucked-like that? It holds gas, and gets it to the motor and cost me 20 bucks. I'm not trying to win a show.

thanks for all the compliments guys. These things are fun as heck to build, but getting expencive due to steel price increases though. I'm nearly paying double what I did a year ago for this 1" OD .065 wall DOM tubing.

thanks again,
Wes

Thanks man! Long time no talk eh?

I struggled with a few things, but all and all it went pretty smooth. I'm already drawing up the designs for the rear indipendent suspension which will make this buggy even more fun!

I"ll keep you guys posted. thanks again for the comments

Hey it's the underwater ceramics technician!

Heck no you can't ride it, you'll blow the shocks out or something! haha

we'll see if there's room in the trailer to bring it down to the first race.

I'm going out today to bleed the brake and try to get her going for a good long test ride....keep your fingers crossed

So is the thing still running? Im just curious, does it overheat any because the seat is infront of the engine. How does it get airflow passed it? That is pretty cool though!
