I have a 03 400ex and i hated how narrow it was and how high it sat.Im 15 and dont have a job so im basicly allways broke.So i looked around for a cheap pair of off-set wheels and i ended up trading my buddy stephen for a pair that he had on his r for my stock wheels.they made a big difference handling wise but my bike was still too high.So stephen ended up buying elkas all around.he traded me his stock front shocks for a quad-tech hood i had.it made a huge difference.lowerd my bike about 2 inches in the front.and once we mounted up the stock 250r rear shock and a new linkage it lowerd the back alot.The bike handels 110% better than stock and cost me nothing except trades.
