what do you do if your plug hole is stripped

I honestly don't know, but I had a 250x/350x conversion that had that same problem. I don't have it anymore but just out of curiosity I would like to know too.

I would take the head off, and take it to a dealer to get retapped. Or try to retap it yourself.

Pull the head. Bring it to a machine shop and have it heli-coiled. Don't try to tap it yourself unless you want a bunch of aluminum shavings in the cylinder.

IM thinking......there is another method to get threads that is a lot stronger then heli coils........ahhhhhh what is it....let me think :confused:

This happened to my moped and i used a heli-coil. Worked fine lol

Take the head off to determine the damage.

Most auto stores have a thread chaser that you can "chase" the threads and reset them. They are about $7.
Check that out. If it is really bad then you will have to get a helicoil
