I HATE DOGS!!!! Woke up this morning at 6:40 to find a dog stuck in my sisters rabbit cage. He pushed through the door and got in. He ripped one rabbit too shreds and another is missing. These rabbits were my little sisters lives. And to top it off, its the day after their birthday. :(

My rabbit got killed when I was about 12.......I came out in the morning to feed him, and he was gone....his cage was all ripped open.....I found him along side of the house.......there were three stupid house dogs running off (I think one was a stupid cocker spaniel)....they just killed him and drug him around. I think I would have shot them if I could have found ammo for my dad's gun, I was so mad.
Sorry to hear about your sis's rabbits........I hope she doesn't get too upset. New bunnies always help! ;)

yeah, that sucks, but get her some new ones, little ones, cuz they are cuter

Also keep a gun handy. I have NO problem whatsoever shooting neighbors' dogs when they become a nuisance.
Dogs are coolerthan rabbits so it was in the right to kill a less cool species. Too bad you didnt get it on tape.:(

I had a rabbit once that died from freezing. Right before I went to bed that night I decided to mess with him and spray him with the water hose. Well unfortunately it got freezing cold that night(after a warm day) and he was as stiff as board. Pretty sad:ermm:

We found out whose dog it is, some lady that doesnt speak english. My .22 is ready and waiting for the dang mutt when he comes back, they always come back. My dad is gettin her to compensate for 2 dead rabbits and two upset girls.
^^^ are u crazy?? It wasn't her fault. don't kill her dog its a freakin animal. If you lived near me i'd call the police on you.

it was her fault for letting the dog run loose, if your dog runs loose, you need to keep it penned up

If I dont kill the dog it will just keep coming back and doing more damage and more and more. The rabbits were animals too.
As far as it not being her fault thats bs. She said she was sick over the phone and let the dog out. Yep, sounds like her fault to me.

By the way incase you didn't know a cocker spaniel is a hound dog. Therefore it was its instincs to hunt and It prolly thought it was a wild rabbit.

As Kara said, keep them pinned up. And if the dog was on their property, and thats where it is when shot, call the police all you want because they can't do a damn thing about it. If the dog is doing destruction, most cops will encourage it. I've been through it all...;)

This is funny... Half of you have probably eaten Rabbit before, and now everyones up in arms about these rabbits that got killed that your ready to kill the old non english speaking neighbors little precous family pet because how dare the dog do what comes natural to them. The Rabbits pen should not be on the ground.

lmao for real......get a cage thats worth .02 and maybe it will help keep dogs from killin your dang rabbits:huh, besides....its the ladies fault too because she cant handle her dog.....animals shouldnt be runnin around towns on their free will cuz stuff like this happens, then ppl start b*tchin and killin animals with ther .22's like u said u were gonna do and stuff.

My sisters cage's werent on the ground there 3 feet off the ground in a hutch thingy. The pitbull jumped up in through the door of the cage and ripped em to shreds. I dont care if you dont like rabbits take it somewhere else, yes I have eaten rabbits before but these were pets. Its not that the dog did what comes naturally its that the lady was careless and let the dog out without watching it.

I live in the same area as this kid, And its A every day thing seeing dogs run loose Half of them dont even have collars its actually quite sad, And most of them think everywhere is there "area" so they will growl At you and what not:rolleyes: I bet it if he shot the dog the people wouldnt notice because they probaly dont take care of it. Im not saying he should shoot it but he should definately call the pound or take it somewhere.

Animal control had the dog but released it to its owners later that morning. They arent answering phone calls. We have tried from many different numbers and they never answer there phone. So we'll see what happens.
