I have a burgard twin row and my bearings went out. Do I need to special order certain ones, or can I just use stock type bearings??

Most of these twin row carriers use the bearing out of a GM air conditioning compressor. I believe the BCA and Timken number for it is 902957, but don't hold me to that. I'll have to check the bearings I have here in stock.

I would use the replacement bearings for that carrier, besides their twin row.

The Timken and BCA bearings are twin row. I'll bet if you look for the number on the bearing you'll find the number I listed above. Most of these aftermarket manufacturers don't have the money to have a special bearing made up for their carriers, and none of them manufacture their own. If you buy the Timken or BCA, chances are you'll get an American made piece or at least something of quality. These bearings are also available in a generic type, made in China or some other country, and might just be what was in the carrier when new.

I made a mistake on the above part number, the correct number is 907257.
