I have found an Alpha Sports 50cc Cobra atv.Is this the same company that makes the little fast dirt bikes? If anyone has any info on these let me know.I am also wondering if you can get aftermarket parts for them.I looked at the website and didn't find alot about parts available.

The Alpha Sport Cobra has nothing to do with the Cobra company that puts out the fast 50cc bikes.
An Alpha won the GNC TT #1 last year. (90cc production)
Hetrick can prolly give you more info on them than I.

I was told by a dealer that Alpha Sport is the same as Polaris but you may want to check that out.

You can also look into this forum that has a section on these machines http://miniatv.proboards23.com/index.cgi?board=alpha

the alpha sport is basically the same as the other asian quads. you can get almost any aftermarket part you want for them. we have one locally that the guy has added a big bore cylinder, plus 3 a-arms and a few other parts.

Thanks for the info.I forgot about that website mxdad.I may go ahead and get it.In the picture I saw it looked like the rear wheels didn't bolt to the hub like a regular wheel. They looked to have no bolt pattern, just an axle nut held them on.I will look a little closer at it when I get to see it in person.

we've got an Alpha LG50 that we've had for going on 4 years (?). I've been buying all my stock parts from the local Polaris dealer. Both machines are built by Aeon - you can find the Aeon name all over the quads if you look close, and the designs were identical except for plastic until Polaris came out with the Pred minis.

we've had very good luck with ours. damn, did i just jinx myself??:eek2:

My sister has a LG150 and it's a POS! At 20hrs or so on it the CDI burned up and now you can't go over half throttle without it wanting to cut out. We have tried everything.

I have two Aeon built Scrambler 90's. one is an 01 and the other 02, both have been very reliable. (exept cheezy batteries) easily replaced.

Can I get after market rear wheels for it or do I have to change hubs off something else?I haven't got to see it in person yet.I will try to go look at it Saturday, then I will know more about it.

The rear wheels bolt on like lawnmower wheels, they don't have any lug nuts, just bolts straight to the axle.
