38mm lectron carb for 400ex

i have a 38mm lectron carb for a 400ex or a 440ex. when i bought the carb, the guy didnt tell me it wouldnt work on my 300ex i'm triyn to sell it again. its in great condition and i had terry cable make me a stainless braided throttle cable for a twist throttle. give me your email if your interested $150 or make offer. i'm just tryin to break even here. great price for what they're going new. thanks

all you have to do is put it in the rubber mount and hook up the cable and go. if its a little tight going in, take a hair dryer to the rubber and it will slide right in.

What about the fuel air adjustment, or jets, did you have any trouble with them?

there are no jets on these carbs, just a rod in the middle that you turn to get the mixture right. as far as i know that rod is the only adjustment on the carb, its kinda guess and test. if you do a search or call lectron they can tell you i'm sure. thanks
