atc / trx compatibility question

i was wondering if a fmf pipe from a trx 250r would fit on a liquid cooled 1985 atc 250r??

i think the one from the quad goes more towards the front of the quad while the atc wraps around like a dirt bike pipe.the quad pipe would probably hit the front tire on the atc.
