those motors love high compression.do the piston,cam and exhaust and you'll have more than you need.TRUST ME on this one.head work isnt necessary with that big ol'motor..:)

Those bike's motor is already to much for how the thing handles IMO.

the best thing to do on craptors.. i mean raptors.. :D is to stip them of weight. they are fat ladies and they wanna be skinny! i have a buddy with a craptor that has the same exact stuff done to it as i do my 4fiddy and he's got it stripped down to 325 and he beats me everytime in a drag! not to mention it handles SOO much better!

i know 2nd gear was known for going out on the early models,i remeber going to 1 tooth LESS on the countershaft sprocket was the hot ticket for a while.unless you felt ike paying almost $600 for the updates:(
