Had to put on a new radiator. What is the proper way to do this?

I dont have a full service manual yet, so i figured i'd ask for help on here. Do you poor it directly into the radiator cap, and what is the capacity? What all should I know? Thanks!

You have allready installed the radiator?
Fill the radiator thru the cap, till full, I always start the bike up and let run till warm to help perg any air trapped inside. I don't have the manual here to look up capacity, but I think it's around 2 quarts?

I think the manual says to fill the radiator till it's full, and than fill the overflow bottle to the lower mark. Than start the bike and get all the air purged out, and then refill radiator if neccessary and fill the overflow bottle to the upper mark. I just did this process when I put my bike back together after powdercoating, so it's still fresh in my mind. I'm not sure how much fluid it holds, but I'm sure it's not more than two quarts.
