250 vs 450r

how does a 250r and a 450r compare in motocross. i have a 250 and want to know if im gonna get blown away by the 450s

stock 250r, yea probly. but a hopped up 250r will keep with a 450r easily. the 250r's handling and geometry is superior to the production quads, and they are hella lighter too. it also helps if u know how to handle the 2 stroke power. but the downfall is, they are alot mroe maintenance... and seei as they are nearing 20 years old..... lot of the parts are used and reused.
