searched dennis kirk and googled and i cant find a damn carb rebuild kit for my 400ex???:confused:

I know you can get the parts individually OEM but as far as an aftermarket kit I haven't seen one.

that doesn't sound strange to anyone? well my float is sticking causing gas to pour out but i'm unsure of what exactly i should replace? just the float needle?

i would take it apart and clean the heck out of it first. tap the float a few times and see where it is sticking at.

what a rip!!! the dealer charged me $22 for the float needle, $9 for a 42 pilot and $6 for a 155 main :mad:

Why did you buy from them if they charge so much. You could of ordered it and probably saved money even with shipping if you can stand to wait a couple days. Anytime I hear outrageous prices like that, I usually give the dealer a few price quotes from other comparable dealers, that will usually deflate their prices.
