I'm with him ^^

500 is not cheap for any stock shocks, 450R or not.

The going price on here for stock 450r shocks is $100.00-$120.00 a piece shipped. You might try offering them in that price range,I bet you get more of a response.

Have you guys looked at the price for new ones? I know that they are rediculously priced but how can you expext someone to give these away for $100? The $500 is not necessarily firm but $100 is crazy for all three.

I said a peice. That means per 1. That would mean anywhere from $300.00 to $360.00 shipped for all 3. Hell, if you wanted to sell all 3 for $100.00,I would buy them!

For 360 you can buy a nice pair of triple rates that would be way better that putting stock shocks on. The rear is basically a slightly lowered 400ex shock anyway.

For 500, I could easily find a set of triple rates and a re-valved rear.

Well I certainly did not mean to start a war. I'd like to sell all three, but if I separate them I'd like $300 for the fronts. I'd love to know where you can by triple rates for $360???? New? Just curious.

Curless, I am not trying to tick you off, believe me, I was just trying to help.
I got a set of take off fronts, never used, for $200.00 shipped, from a member on this site. I also got a little used rear for $100.00.
I'm just saying,on this site, that seems to be the going rate.
And,yes,it seems low from a sellers perspective.
My point was,and still is, That is about the best you can expect if you are going to peddle them here.
I should have kept my big mouth shut, but truly,I was trying to help.

Look on ebay man. Brand new works triple rates with shipping included are 340 for 300ex and 370 for 400ex. Way cheaper if you buy re-valved or slightly used ones. Those will be better than the stock 450r shocks by a long shot. Not trying to fuel the fire either, but make your prices realistic and you'll sell them.

Thats cool guys no harm done at all. It is hard to tell how someone is coming off when you can't hear there voice! The works shocks must be steelers. I agree they are good shocks, I just hate to give away such expensive pieces. But theya re only worth what someone will pay for them. Anyway, thanks for the advice...keep the wheels pointed down!

Normal price for 450R front shocks is $250~$300 and the rear usually goes for $250.

Instead of trying juice the seller down, why not just buy those triple rates from Ebay?

$310 for the front and $75 for the rear and
winnibg bidders paid shipping. There is no way rear shock is worth $250
