My brother and a couple of friends(Blake- yfz,Garrett*-450r) went to Hatfield McCoys over the weekend... Blake tried to go up a hill witch they thought was part of a trail but it was acutally just like lil rain ruts...well he almost made it to the top when he lost control, it rolled quite a few times down the hill, luckily* he hopped off at the top and watched it go.... heres some pics

this is the yfz and him right after it stopped rolling

no i dont think so, i know that the steering stem got bent, and the a arm ball joints just like poped off(front left tire held on by the tie-rodlol) i think all 4 new rims were shot, tail light bracket got bent, head light broke off, broke the plastic in a few spots, and bent one rear plastic bracket and bent the other, and bent the bumper a lil

I was there with him when it happened. I told him not to go up it cause i knew he'd flip cause it was straight up and down. He started up the hill and then toward the top it got really steep and he lost traction because of some coal that was toward the top. He tried to save it by pinning it up against a tree where he lost traction but he couldnt get it behind it. So.. he jumped off and it started flipping and rolling and i was about half way down the hill and it came straight for me. I jumped out of the way and the right back rim drilled a tree and it just bounced off and kept going when it finally stopped about 20 feet from the bottom. The axle is bent, steering stem, lower a-arm, 4 itp t-9 rims, plastic, brackets for the plastic, tailight bracket, brake lever, tusk tie rods, and a headlight all need replaced. The gas tank will also need replaced because the steering stem smashed it down too. But dont worry, he's got insurance.

Hey, what about those trail tech bars.... the steering stem was trashed but those bars arent bent at all :p

The insurance company is supposed to come tomorrow to see how much he gets.. or if they just total it which thats what we're hoping because that'll be alot of work. And about how far out we were, from where we were staying and riding fast we were about an hour out in the woods. That same night we had some crazy guys that were staying in the cabin beside us that wanted to go get it at like 9:30... and they did. I let my friend that wrecked borrow my R to go with them to get it. Thy tied the front end down on one of the guys' back racks and pulled it out like that. They finally got back to the cabin at 1:30AM. What a night that was... haha.

Hey, Im right near you. If the insurance totals it find out if there is a buy back (often times there is) Because i could sure use that engine and give your friend a couple extra bucks for letting me do so.

The insurance guy came today but didnt know anything ... so tomorrow we have to take it somewhere to see how much its going to cost to get it fixed. His uncle has a blue 04' that has like 2 hours on it that he's prolly gonna get. We're gonna see about buying it back after they total it... if they do so.

MixMasterMike- He had it insured by a local insurance company not through the dealership.

Allen- We were on the Buffalo Mountain trailhead on the more difficult trails... right were 22 turns into 23. We stayed in a little cabin in Matewan. The hill he tried to climb wasnt a hill that anyone had made it up, it looked like it because it was just where the water had washed it out. It was mean.
