Hi All,

I have an LTA50 with all the common mods.

* Graydone Pro-line pipe
* Removed exhaust and intake restrictor
* Removed outer primary Jet
* Opened up air cleaner
* Carb slide cover removed
* 65 main jet

I am having trouble getting the bike to idle. There are two adjustment screws on the carb (for and aft). I have to have the aft screw all the way in to get an idle and then, it's erratic. Sometimes too fast, sometimes too slow and stalling.

Can someone share some benchmark setting for both adjustment screws.

I am also intersted in an aftermarket air filter replacement. Does anyone make a flange for the little carb to fit a standard UNI or K&N element?

Thanks kindly.

It only takes a tiny piece of grit to clog the jets on the little 50, I was constantly tearing our carb apart to clean it. It wasn't as bad after we put an inline fuel filter in it. You might check your jets, take a strand of wire and run it through all the holes to make sure it's clear.
