problem with clutch

today i was riding and i pulled the clutch in and if felt like the clutch cable broke, so i stopped shut it off and looked, but it wasnt broken, i pulled it in the the clutch jus kinda move freely, i tightened it up as much as possible and still nothing, so could of the spring inside have fallen off or somethin??

grab the actuator arm on the engine and give it a pull to the front of the engine. If it moves, something broke. gonna have to open her up to see whats wrong.

pff if you can do that with one finger you better rip that sidecase off and see what happened

It's the clutch lifter pin. The head breaks off and feels like a broken cable. Buy a new one and a clutch cover gasket from Service Honda, shouldn't cost more than $25 for both, including shipping. Make sure you find the little head that broke off, it may be stuck in the cover.
