450r stock shocks quick question

i race flat track and i was wondering if there is any wayi can lower them at all?
i twisted those two screw thingys on the shocks will that work at all or what can i do till i get them to c&d to get rebuilt?

Which screw thingys did you turn? The compression adjustment or preload adjustment?
Turning the preload adjustment rings up (towards the top of the shock) will lower it a little but will also make the shocks softer. Turning the compression adjusters will not lower it.
The best way is to buy a lowering kit.
