Ok here im makeing a poll so people dont have to stress about there being 100 pipe posts because im looking for a new pipe also and I know other people are in the same boat as me and most people hate to see it. So feel free to add your opinions as well as vote. Thank you

Im stuck between Sparks,Yosh and HMF:confused:

I like my Baldwin allot pulls hard all the way through the rpm range it's really smoothe power that doesn't feel fast when you're on it but it is fast if you can understand that

Pulse Charger and Rossier Engineering.

i still cant believe the sparks is beating the rossier when the sparks is:

a) WAY way louder

b)not spark arrested

c)makes less power

d)makes contact with the engine case

e)costs more


maybe some day you will see the light...by then i will be "light" years ahead:rolleyes:

Is the sparks a good sounding loud or an annoying sounding loud? Everyone says they are way to loud.

I have one with the HRC kit and it sounds great. It is a deep sound with a mean bark when you crack the throtte.

Is www.sparksracing.com the only place to get the sparks exhaust? I know ebay to but they are the same price.

louder isnt bad, it sounds good, not spark arrested, true, but not everyone needs that, and they do have an option for it, but with mass power loss im sure, yes it makes less power, but with the big core and a modded bike, the rossier and the sparks are most likely equal, i talked to sparks about this factor right when i bought my 450r, they said the big core will add around 1-1.5hp with a big cc bike, and .5-1hp with a stock and lower big bore bike, contact with the engine case yes but it can be fixed and isnt in a place where it can truley damage the motor, cost, i am unaware of that, i dont know how much the rossier costs

if it was me, id buy the rossier for a stock bike, sparks for any mods what so ever, i run the sparks x6 big core, its loud, but its a good kind of loud :macho

i would love if you would tell me what pro is using a sparks pipe in the gncmx this year...the answer i NONE because of noise restrictions.

this is going to have an impact on all of us. not only that but the RE pipe beat the sparks in power......HELLO welcome to the 21st century:rolleyes:

NONE of the ppl mentioned run a sparks pipe...gncc is WAY more noise restricted than even the gncmx....check your facts fool:rolleyes:

i did, chris borich i kno for sure does, i spoke to sparks about it, he said yes he runs their pipe, you may want to check your facts "fool"

the RE is 96db legal...as tested...the sparks is like 104db ...plus the RE is cheaper...you do the math:rolleyes:

The longer can is the 96db with spark arrestor which i don't figure to many people will be using the longer can. Those dynos were done with the short can and i think they said is like 102db. But i could be wrong.

that is also not the big core sparks, it is the normal core, chris borich runs the big core sparks pipe, i talked to sparks about it before buying my exhaust when i first bought my bike, i asked them if chris borich runs the sparks pipe, they said yes he runs our big core version, and that is what i bought

Ive got the HMF Carbon full system and its got quite a bit of low end. I havent tried any other pipes or anything.. but it does a good job in the woods. It complements the Hotcam stage II nicely. I would like to try some different pipes just to see what the difference is but i like it alot.

definantly not why i bought it, i bought it because sparks hooked me up with parts on my 400ex and it took mulitpul hole shots last season, i was gonna buy the pipe wether he was running it or not, i was jus asking if he did

yes- nice delta. would have been better to see those pulls done on the same day with same test conditions

Yes it would have, because as you can see the the one with the PC and Hot Cams had a bad disadvantage that day.;)
