this question probably has been asked a bunch of times, but I'll ask it anyways. not quite sure what size jet to run. I have a full yoshi pipe and k&n air filter and i don't know what size main jet i should be running. does a 170 sound like it would be too much? and should i change the pilot jet to a 42? I have the needle 3 notches down like it said in the instrutions, so I know that part is right. I am 3000 ft or below in elevation. This whole carb. thing is confusing to me. Thanks in advance.

It sounds a little fat but every quad is different all you can do is try it and see.Good place to start.

oh yeah, I most likely will be running without the air box lid. don't know how much of a difference that would make in jet size. just thought i would add that in.
