Hey I have a 2003 400ex with mods listed in signature. It could use new plastics and front tires. (The front tires are still stock and have tread left). Since I've had this quad I've put about 10-15 hours on it and i am the second owner. I bought it in the middle of 2004. The oil is changed regularly and is clean. I'm replacing the timing chain this week. They are known to start stretching bad after about 20 hours. If you have parts you want put on it before you buy it I will do it for a price if you give me the parts to put on. It will be alot cheaper than paying a shop to do it. I'm looking to get $3,200 but price is negotiable. I'll be 16 soon and need a truck so I gotta get rid of the quad till I have made enough cash to get another one. Thanks alot! -Mike

id take $3,200 I just put a $300 roll design steering stem and $80 renthal fatbars, and $20 pad. If you dont want the steering stem and bars ill sell for $3,000, but you will need to buy a steering stem. I have some pro tapers i would include with it.

After putting the bars and stem on there and riding with them, i have decided to keep them. First 3000 takes it. For 3100 I will buy the new stem and put it on for you. The pro tapers are on ebay so they will not be included with the sale. No i will not ship. If I do sell, I will not sell for less than $3,500. I'm not even sure i want to sell it. After riding it this weekend I don't really need any more power than it already has.

Off topic but where did you find that other 400ex? I have been searching like a madman for a 400ex in Illinois for $3000 or less...share your secret!:D

traded my old one for it + $500. (EDIT) Oh, It was a friend of mine's quad, thats how i found it.
