lol i know you guys are gonna scold me but this past weekend i went to the mx track and had the great idea of checking my oil after i got home (by the way last time i was at the track i was 15 and on a yz250). so after i got unloaded i checked the oil............................ there wasn't any oil what-so-ever on the dipstick:eek2: luckily there was still some in the motor. but here's my question, if there is no oil in the tank will it still circulate to the cooler and will it burn up the pump ??

Pump, probably not. Bearing's, depends on how low it actually was. If it was just below the dipstick you're probably okay. At this point, I'd do an oil change and look for metal shavings in the oil. They're easist to see if you drain the oil into a clear container. Like a big pickle jar.
