The pipe has wore that out of the case, it was a Sparks pipe...

Mine is doing the same with the Sparks pipe. The problem is where pipe attaches to subframe. The mount closest to the headpipe joint is drilled too low causing the pipe to be pulled down on the engine cases. Remove pipe and drill up to make a slot. This will stop pipe from rubbing case.:)
