question about TC exhaust

I want to see if i can use a aftermarket header for my Tc slip on,thing is the header goes outside of the pipe instead of inside,i was jsut wondering if i can do it,i got a pic to show you what im talking about on a YFZ,as long as the clamp is nice and tight it shouldnt leak right?

by the way, I found out what TC uses for the silencer, he uses a 350x suppertrapp system, the mid pipe looks the same also. I got the supertrapp for my 350x yesterday and its identicle. Just a thought for guys trying to sve some money, a 350x system sells for $250 and a 400ex headpipe is nearly identical to 350x also, so it might fit on a 400ex with minimal work.

no,i have the old style one where they have about 4 inches of silencer and thats it

i would still say pretty damn loud,the only thing they did was lengthen that black piece i think,so it brought it down 2 db's,lol
