so did adding reverse really do anything to the motor changing it like making it slower? say is there any difference between a 05 motor and a 03 or 04 motor besides the reverse? im asking because im looking to get rid of my 300ex and get a 400ex or a z400 because of the liquid cooling... im kind of at a wall right now.. thanks guys

I love my 400ex, but the new z400 should be pretty sweet with the suspension and cam upgrades they did for 05.
