yeah i have 2 but both are pretty ugly. one is a drag car and the other is kinda like yours. they were both given to me so i don't really care to much about them.

I used to be into them a few years ago then i started to get into quads. I had a Duratraxx Evader and a Team Associated T-3 i think? I cant remember, but the damn things broke about everytime i used them..lol. In a couple years I would like to get back into and race them up at a local track again.

yea I have a crapload of rc ****. anyone want it? 800 bucks takes it lol I just have to get rid of it. Have a savage w/ **** ton of extra parts, 2 rc 10 gts, 1 rc10t4, a bunch of extra parts for all the cars, extra wheels/tires, extra engines, and radio equipment as well. I didn't mind playin w/ them for a while but it just got boring after a while.

03-18-2005, 02:38 PM
hell i'll sell mine for $60. one is put together and the other is in pieces but its all there. i have 2 bodies and like 2 complete sets of wheels for the one that is put together. they are both electric and i have the really nice charger that you can plug into your car if you want. if anybody is interested just ask cause i hate to have the cars sit when i don't use them.

I used to be a pretty hardcore racer, competed in national events, met a lot of the factory drivers. Don't really know why I strayed from it, but I did. Hope to get back into it soon though.

I work at a machine shop and we make almost all of the Kranzel parts, I didn't think they were that "big". I have a RC-10 GT and a Traxxas Nitro Rustler that a friend gave me. His Dad got him the rustler for his b-day and he ran it like twice and I think he fouled a plug. I just wish I had more time to screw with them, the 400EX is my hobby of late...

Hey my buddy has one just like this, but different color..he broke a shock and went to our local hobby shop and they were sooo amazed to see something this old still running around..and to say the least they didnt have the parts..

I had a GS Storm Nitro Buggy, 2 Traxxas Rustlers (1 with .15 and other 2.5) 2 Traxxas Tmaxx's with the 2.5 motors, but sold all but one T-Maxx when I bought my newest quad..I am looking for an HPI MT-2 4x4 Stadium truck if anyone has one for sale though..

Got a hpi rush, few mods, haven't gotten to run it much, little cars take more mechanicing than a fourwheeler.

I have been running R/C's (nitro) since i was 13. Had good knowledge of engines and had no trouble. I had many aggrevated times and I dont reccomend someone going my route. I have had just aout everything cept boats and large scale (1/6 down) and I have kept my trusty ol RC10GT. Well its not the same one i have started out with! I recently upgraded the whole machine again so this would be the RC10GTV5 for me. My first GT was a RTR when they first came out in the summer of 1999.:eek2: Wow it has been a long time!:(

anyways here are pics to my RC10GT as of recent. The problem was my Diff screw had worked loose. Tightened it up with some loctite on it and she works like a charm now! It is my race and bash truck but here are the mods:

Factory Team chassis (longer)
Full Robinson racing tranny
ceramic bearings throughout
extra hard carbide diff balls
RPM blue 3° rear mounts and 0° (0° are good for road racing)
ubontanium shock shafts and RTR shock setup for bashing
Blue springs all around
RPM rear bulkhead
Deans ultra plugs
Dynamite .12 SPD
Motor-saver
O.S. plugs
O'donnell 20%
MIP CVD
RPM ultra rear carriers (1/4X1/2 bearings)
Ti shock towers (not pictured)
RPM clawz wheels
JRZ590M steering servo
reverse fill fuel tank (not pictured)
GMC low-pro body
RPM a-arms all around
Lunsford Ti hinge-pins and turnbuckles
RPM ball cups
RPM A-arms all around
RPM RX box
Factory Team Tuned Pipe
and its a bump box- a real R/C'ers choice! It provides a lower center of gravity and higher revs! I noticed without the one way it also helped my idle be more stable. Get one if you dont!

I like all of that crap. I have a T-Maxx 2.5 (parts on order as we speak), a .40 size aerobatic trainer plane, a 2-meter glider, a little electric helicopter, and a whole bunch of those little micro cars that I keep getting for Christmas for some reason.

by the way here is a link to pics. I cant believe I forgot that!

Also standardryder-Get that fuel out of your tank! That will kill your perfomrance since the alky evaporates and you are left with oil and other things. Clean it out with your fuel bottle and put lots of after-run oil in the engine andf clean your air filter after every run. It looks kinda dirty to me. Or just do what i do-buy 6 filters and keep em in rotation. This will make them last forever and not ruin your day if you lose one!

Also a good tip for the E-clips on cars. Bend them a little tighter with needlenose pliers and put a dab of shoe-goo over them to keep them from popping out. Also make sure that everything is tight and in good shape before you run. Kinda run a checklist and maybe put a small small drop of CA of screws that cant stay tight.

Also on your fuel tank- take some old o-rings from your shocks and put them on your gas tank mounts. This will lessen vibration and help keep the tank tighter against the truck. Also I run a layer of shoe-goo underneath their so it sticks well and even deadens vibration more.

Put a Few zip-ties on the top of your heat sink so it will protect your pretty heatsink from getting scratched up in a rollover (which we all do often when we bash!)

Here are the pics:

yeah i usually dont leave the gas in the tank, and i always use after run oil. i actually havnt ran it in a while because the starter broke, but the other day i built this really nice thing so i can start it with a cordless drill,(i work in a machine shop) but i just happen to lose the tiny pin that connects the crankshaft to the shaft that sticks out the back to start it, so now i cant start it. i made a new one but i guess it wasnt hard enough because it broke:(

How is that Revo doing??? I'm thinkin' of E-Baying the RC-10GT, and getting either a T-Maxx, or a Revo myself now...
