what will this do?

wondering what these mods will do against a piped shee with minor mods. here goes: this is what i have now:full duncan double barrell exhaust kit, edelbrock carb,k&n with air box removed,wb cdi, and adding :stroker big bore 416 or 440(want reliability?),TC mx cam,hardened rockers and springs,port and polish,am i forgetting something? just want to spank a friends banshee to shut his mouth. COST IS NOT IMPORTANT!.but once it`s done i don`t want to have to keep tearing into the motor to keep it going. so reliability is a major factor. come on guy`s help me spank this fool!:confused: :confused: :confused:

do you guys know how to make these things run or what? COST IS NOT AN OPTION! (but i want to run pump gas)............:confused: :confused: :rolleyes:

You should be able too do it with those mods on dirt. But depending what is done to the shee it will be hard to beat in the sand.

I would just have Tom Build you a Full 440 Race Engine. Call Tom and ask him what he thinks you should do.

sorry guys i`m new to this 4 stroke thing just got rid of the shee for the 400ex last week. all this banshee has are toomey pipes and jets with a k&n filter.

mani i dont think youre gonna get that shee on top end no matter what you do! our 400's are geared only so high! you would have to go to at least 440 and with that much displacement id get a lerger oil resevoir to go along with it, it will hold an extra quart of oil and youll want it with the 440! ive got a 96 shee as well and that sum***** is just fast! i dont know man, go for the 440 and pray alot!

sell the 400 and buy a kick ***** 250r. i usually run side by side with good running piped shees (i'll win one, they'll win one, whoever gets the better launch wins), beat stock and piped ones that are beat up. all i have done for motor is trx5 pipe and silencer and my motor is .20 and a air filter (cant wait to do a big bore and some porting). alot of it depends on where u guys race (banshees are faster on alphalt and 400ex's are hard to get a good start because swingarm is too short). it also depends on how well u know how to shift, how much u weight, and your ability to launch well. i have never been beat by a 400 but i have had one that almost ran side by side with me at silverlake. it had a 440, a cam, and a few other things. my friend has a 400 with a 416 and he took his to the strip with a 16 tooth gear on the back and got 72 so u will need to go smaller in the back to keep up on top speed.
