CRF 450 Throttle???

I have a CRF450 quad with the stock carb which is made for a push pull throttle cables and twist throttle. I have it set up with a 250x thumb throttle and it's so stiff i can only ride for about 5 minuts. I've looked all over the internet for some conversion kit, but cant find anything. If you know of any way to save my thumb PLEASE let me know!!!

You should be able to use a 400ex or 450R thumb throttle setup. It should work just fine, order the cable as well. If that still doesn't work, then you will need to take down the spring in the carb in order to lighten the load.

Get a used 400ex thumb throttle from East Coast ATV and order the throttle cable from Baldwin or a stock 450r cable. It will work perfectly.

i know you can use a 250r or 400ex throttle, just call baldwin he'll make you a cable.

YFZ cables work also... with honda 400ex,250r, 300ex and 450r throttles.
