In order to get all the potential power out of the 440 bore, you should look into the following.

Port & Polishing the head to let it flow better
Possibly bigger valves
Cam & Heavier Valve Springs
Good Carb & Pipe
Good Timing Chain
You might need a clutch and heavier springs to get the power to the ground

This should get you started!;)

I would do everything at once.

If you have the money to do it all at once, I would.

So far Im liking it.. It works for me ,but not for beating YFZ's and 450r's if your a fast rider though.. My ole man tried to race in local Pro and got beat but he didnt get TORN ,just cant be as competitive as the big dogs.

I went with a 450r carb as well and all the other mods I have listed on mine ,I still need to upgrade my clutch backet in the future and I have NO PROBLEM with getting power planted!!! :blah: :macho
