Will a 400EX with a 416kit and geared 14/31 beat a Raptor with a Pro Circut T4 slip on, K&N air filter, Dyno jet kit, and geared 12/40 in a drag on pavement? Should I put a 13 front tooth sprocket before I race or will I whoop him with a 12 on it? I am a better rider!

just race him and see, then switch your sprockets and see

you stated a question, we gave you a hypothesis and now go experiment, and then state your conclusion and test again with a new sprocket

You got some strange gearing numbers there for the 416. Sure you haven't got em mixed up?

About the race, you'll have to excuse me as I haven't encountered that exact scenario yet so I couldn't comment on the outcome.

The 400EX isnt mine it is my buddoes. He said that's his gearing i was like:confused: ! But the rappy is mine!

What is the distance of the race?

The gearing you stated sounds odd, But the raptor should win if you keep the front tires down.
