Stock or bigbore

i have 2 jugs for a 350x one is i believe stock, the other has a 396 big bore, im building a new motor, i basically want it to be a reliable trail machine, which jug should i go with and what piston would you reccomend, i need help thanks

the 396 can be reliable,just dontgo with too high compression piston,it'll keep your motor temps in check.remember heat is an engines worst enemy.go with stock cam and maybe a slip on exhaust.
