ok i ned to know who makes a decent somewhat inexpensive extended steering stem for a 400exlike maybe 2 inches taller or so nothing fancy just longer

golden west cycles makes their own stems now. I'm dont know what they cost but i'm pretty sure they are in that same $200 price range, if not less.

if your taller say 6'2 it helps with your back instead of leaning forward because the bars are lower,it raises the bars two inches,therfore so you are more comfortable

You could look into ROX's risers. I'm not sure on the website tho I'm on my anuts comp.
