I was woundering if I should go with +2 1/2" a-arms, or 2" or 2 1/2". I talked to them and they said if I get the +2 1/2" I can run a 4:1 offset wheel, and be good, but is that what I want to do? I was just woundering if anyone has done this, or knows which is better, or if either length has advantages... Thanks

2 1/2 is lt and 2 is reg travel i think no positive tho, i say get the plus 2 and put the cash you save towards a swingarm or something, i have a std travel front end and it feels as good as lt to me

I have the Houser +2 Long travel Frt end and i love. I was told there is no advantage with running the 4:1 offset with the new design of a-arms.

Well...

A 4:1 offset would reduce stess on your spindles, and they are also rumored to improve steering.

Think of it this way... what does your steering feel like when you add wheel spacers on the front wheels? Well it should most likely feel kinda funky (in a negative way). Yes, it will make your quad wider, but it will also add leverage and create more bumpsteer.

So now if adding leverage on your steering adversly affects it... removing leverage would most likely improve it.

But you never know... I am only a Mecahnical Engineering major

;) :p

Good luck bud!

I run the LT +2.5 Houser front end with 4:1 offset wheels and I am well under 50inches still and love it.
