Does anyone know if the main springs from standard travel Elka SSDs are the same as the Long Travel shocks? I have perfect springs for my size/riding but may buy some used long travel shocks. I am curious to find out if I can just take these springs in my current triple rate ssds and use them in the quad rate set of ssds.

Thanks in advance for any help..

Even if they are the same size, it being right on the regular travel doesn't make it right on the long travel. The long travel shocks sit out further on the arm so the levearge ratios would be way off.

Just wanted to follow. I called elka and they told me that the actual springs are the same but I would need to use one spring rate lower than my current setup. Luckily I hung on to the spring so I will be able to use it.
