making your own desktop icons?

anyone know how to make their own or edit old ones?

Ok so this is the cheap way, but right click on an icon, then click properties. At the bottom in the middle, click Change Icon. Click Browse, change the file type from Icon Files to All Files and find a .bmp image. Go into MSPaint or Photoshop, make your icon, save it as a .bmp and do the method described there. Should work fine. Otherwise go to download.com and search for Icon Makers.
