my batt.only holds its charge for 10 mins wen hooked up,fuses r fine so there no short or ground? thanx

Battery might just be gettin old and you need to replace it with a fresh one.

Are the connections good, no corrosion? Some rev boxes won't charge batteries very well.

Just sounds like your battery is shot, buy a new one and try that.

i agree, after awhile batteries just stop holding a charge

Did you ever let your battery sit for a long time without a charge on it? Maybe forget to pull the key out, left the neutral light on, and discovered a dead battery weeks later? That's often the death of a battery. It will still charge up to 12 volts, but it won't hold that charge for very long.

I've done that before on my 300ex when it was stock. I would charge it and ride, and it would work while i was riding but the next day it would be dead.
