300ex hardened countershaft?

Does anyone know if of anyone who makes a hardened countershaft gear (where your front sprocket goes on, for those who have no idea what im talking about) for a 300ex? I stripped mine out today and have had friends that have stripped theirs too, so it must be sort of a common thing on them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you're probably runnning your chain too tight, my buddy had this happen on his 01 and he always ran his chain too tight. also when you replace the countershaft, use a new sprocket and retaining plate.
