400EX Wont Start

The last time my buddy rode his 400ex, at a race it ran fine. He wrecked and broke his collar bone, and since we tried to start it and we cant get it to fire. There looks to be nothing wrong, besides the bent handlebars, and the mount on his pipe is cracked now, but after he wrecked he said it started fine as he drove it to the truck, and when i started it to load it, it ran fine....Any ideas???? I am gonna try changing the spark plug tomarrow but that is all i can think of. Any help would be great. Thanks

ya its mostlikley the spark plug I had this problem last night with my buddys 660r we just changed the plug and it fired up within seconds.......good luck with it

Yeah thanks for your thoughts, I changed my buddies spark plug and then we went a pull started it cuz the battery was totally dead, and it fired up in about 30 feet. Thanks

Glad to see it worked out for you and your buddy, some times its just the little things that really screw them up..........
