will a 400ex +4 axle fit on a 250r?

yes but you need 400ex hubs and alxe nuts

i might be wrong but i thought the rear hubs were the same.

Trust me they are not.

What ever axle you buy you will need the the hubs that come with that axle.

I have a 250r, G- Force dosent make a 250r axle. I put a G-force axle from a 400ex on my 250r. Everything was the same but i had to get 400ex hubs for the 400ex axle

Yeah you will need the hubs. The stock R axle is longer but the hubs are shorter. The 400ex axle is shorter but the hubs stick out more making them the same length. I'm pretty sure the hubs are off by one tooth on the splines. You can do it but like ^ said you will need the hubs.
