what do people recomend the tooth number change should be when i get 18s. i know they say minus 1.5 teeth per inch. so that would be 38 stock to 35 aftermarket with the 18s but would it be better to keep it 38 or just go down 1 or 2 teeth. would that help for racing at all?

I suggest a 16for racing.

im running 14/38 right now. id rather go down in the back because the fronts a renthal sprocket and id rather not replace it again.

Many people use a 14t front with the stock 20inch tires. If you go down to 18s, I would imagine a 14t to be gear way to low. I'd suggest somewhere between 15/36 to 15/38 with 18 inch rear tires for racing.

I'm running stock gearing with 18's, I think a 14 in front would be too low. Also you would be changing gears more often with low gearing IMO.

ok im thinking ill just put my stock 15 tooth front sprocket on there and see how that is and if its not riding well then ill throw a 37 on the back.
