This will be the first national I will be going too. I have some questions! If I just bring my pickup truck and a open trailer with my quad on it can I just camp at the national in a tent? And will my quad me safe? I will lock it up! I just don't want anything to happen to it. I don't have much money so I can't go to a hotel. So I am just wondering if you are allowed to camp at the national in a tent? And if my quad will be safe? Also can anybody give me some tips to be prepared for a national! Thanks Everyone who can help me!

I raced my first national last year, and did the same thing you are doing. The only thing i did was to chain the quads onto the trailer, more for when we stoped on the way down to eat, not for the night at the track. The tent worked out great, just make sure you bring enough blankets as it gets cold at night. also if you have an airmatress put a few blankets on it befor you lay on it, the air gets pretty cold. as far as the race, go to have a good time, i had the best timeat he race last year, and am looking forward to the Lorretta's this year. dont be afraid to wander around the pits, as you wil meat some of the nicest people there. Have fun

Echeconnee has showers at the track. But you could also go to a truckstop and they usually have showers for like $5...

I'm not sure if you are talking about GNC's or GNCC's??
All I know about are GNCC's. They usually don't open the gates till Friday Morning. You'll find that the GNCC's are a great bunch of people! Not all tracks have showers, but NC and TN do! Tenting is fine, but like someone else said, it can get very cold at night. You can always bring old towels and jugs of water to wash up with too till you can get a shower! What class you racing? Well, come up and say hi, my name is Stefanie, I race in the morning #219 on a Honda 450R. Hope you have fun, have a safe trip!
