Yes they give loans when your 15, but you need your parents to co-sign for the loan, as they will be responsible if you dont pay your debt. But 4700 is pretty hard to make unless your pushin blow.

actually they have to have the loan totally in their name, so they cannot cosign for you, you have to be 18 to take a loan, even with a cosigner

thank you, i couldnt even get my car in my name when i bought it at 16. you have to be 18 for basically anything financial.

and might i ask why you need 4700 in a few days? thats quite a sum on such short notice.

Not being able to get a loan at that age is not necessarily (sp) true. I got a personal loan at the age of 15 with my local bank that I had a CD with and the was the collateral. The CD did also have my father's name on it and he was willing to put it up as collateral. The only thing is you have to have some type of money collateral probably. I am currently a loan officer and we make loans to kids (under 18), but their parents are the co-signers.

Word of advice get a couple of department store credit cards if you can, use them to establish credit and then you will start to get VISA, Mastercard, etc. pre-approved credit apps. in the mail. Get a VISA and Mastercard credit card and start to use them and that will continue to help build your credit. When you fill them out, if you live at home also use your parents income in the household income box. By the time I was 18 my credit scores were over 700 and it became easy to get loans.
