quadtech hood on maier plastic

i did a search and didnt find the answers i wanted sooo... i bought a quadtech hood for my 400ex im doin a rebuild on. i also have brand new maier race cut plastic and well i set the hood on the plastic and it no where near lines up:( just wondering if people have made theirs fit or how they rigged up their hoods on maier plastic thanks much

What doesn't match up? The front or the countour? I was thinking about doing the same.

it seems too long and doesnt match the contour very well:confused: called quadtech and said its for stock 400 or oem replacement plastic

get out your jig saw hack saw and sander and start cutting. look at it think about it and customize it. thats what i did with my 400 if ya want a pic or more help pm me.

i know somebodies had to put the hood on this type of plastice before???
