Uh oh bought another Blaster LOL

Well we bought an 02 blaster last night, not running has a crack int he side case under the kickstarter but got the parts off of Ebay!!! Sooooo our one we have now will be put to race mode ONLY,, & this will be DJ;'s new trail quad, he's not REAL happy cuz of course he wants a 400 or 450 BUT DON'T WE ALL!! WE only pd $400 for it too :eek2: :devil: it's wayyyyyyyy worth the $$ I will post some pics once I pick it up!! But I will say it's in good shape wayyyy better shape than when we bought the 1st one!! At least this one isn't in a box LOL, it's gonna be perfect for the trails since it still has the airbox & all!!

:cool: yeah they are fun!! I'll post some pics of it tomarrow :) just brought it home tonight!! Tomarrow I will be washing it up & draining the oil so we can pull the side case ahhhh another project :D

last one, this is the hole/crack in the case :( new cover on it's way & we're tearing into it tonight probably!!

Thinking w/o looking maybe a tooth broke off the clutch basket & hit it? Guess we'll see tonight!!

is that the clutch side or the stator side (or whatever they have for electronics) that looks like a few wires going into the case

This is the clutch side and those are for the oil injection system..it is an oil line and a cable from the throttle to the injector pump...

Damn, you got a killer deal on that. I've been looking for a good deal on a blaster for my little brother for a few months now, with no luck:(

My other brother got a job at RMC a few weeks ago, so maybe we'll get one there.:ermm:

I heard there was one on www.craigslist.com for $500, needs brakes BUT DON'T THEY ALL lol, you should check that out!!
So what does your bro do @ RMC?? We just raced there last weekend @ the TT had a BLAST!! I just posted some pics in the racing forum you should check them out!!! :) i can keep my eyes/ears open for blasters also!!

I went to craigslist.com, but didn't find a blaster for $500. I did see a 02 blaster in gig harbor for $1995, they said it's in real good shape. Might give them a call. Do you know if the $500 blaster is still on there?:confused: Anyways my brother works in the back, building the bikes and quads. He really likes it, not to mention a big discount on parts:D I'll go check out those pics you posted, and pm me if you hear of any blasters for sell....thanks

could of bought my blaster motor.. its bored to a 300cc by trinity has stage 5 or 4 whichever is the highest and a few other things done to it...and needs rebuild and crank berrings its in peices in a big tub though lol! was on alcohol but sold the carb... it has a 4 mil crank too!!!:D
