i love scouts! yeah he should replace GMC with international- why would you put GMC and chevy up there together? but if you're gonna put that up there, why not include Unimogs and Pinzgauers? Now THOSE are some badass 4x4s...

but if this is about any 4x4 ever made, it would be hard to choose between the K5 and the 22R 4runner with the removable top- both have so much potential.

as for today's 4x4s, i'd probably vote for the jeep because of the Rubicon, although the new Dodge Power Wagon is awesome too.

I guess i just wont vote in the poll

damn right...unimogs own, im partial to fj-40 land cruisers but back in the day their were many, rover, nissan patrols, unimogs, pinsgauers...etc plus the old ford f-series and chevy's were different animals then they are today....

I voted Ford. I currently have Ram 1500 and unfortunatly it's a mellon. the next truck in my garage will be a Ford 2500 or 3500 super duty (hopefully diesel), or a ram 2500/3500 heavy duty cummins:D

My vote depends on what wieght class 1/2, 3/4, or 1 ton. I like chevy gas motors and drive line. I like fords suspension, diesel, and looks. Dodge, I only like the cummins. The hemi is a dog.

For straight off the production line 4X4.., I'd have to say the rubicon. Those Air lockers will give it a large advantage over the rest of the pack.

With modding.., it's hard to tell on that one. Everyone and their brother had a K5, and they could be modded pretty well. The scouts were good trail mudders too.

Unimogs with the portal axles are pretty kickin' too. Lots of ground clearance since they bring most of the axle way up higher.

It's a tough decision.
