does anyone got a lone star axle for there 450r. if you do can you tell me how you like it. and is it light than the stock one

I have one and I like it allot it's very strong but it's not lighter than the stocker it's thicker and more dense than the stock axle which makes it quite a bit heavier than the stock axle but it's much stronger and I don't think that any after market axle is lighter than stock the axles is deffinatley not a place where you want to cut weight at

Very happy with mine. There is a lighter axel the durablue X-33 I believe is hollow. But strength wise I feel more comfortable with a lonestar.

mine is looking like hell i race xc and the chrome has all ready coming off its scratched up and rust is comeing threw

Send me a pic because sometimes I can warranty the chrome. It is very obvious if it is bad chrome and not abuse. If the chrome is bad, it dose not scratch it peels off and flacks very easy. So if yours is doing that I will be able to warranty it. If it is from rocks and other unavoidable obstacles, then you can always pay $50.00 to have it rechromed. I hope this helps.
