enault, I drilled out rivets on WB

I went ahead and drilled out the rivets on my WB exhaust this past weekend and then re-riveted it back together. The overall job seems to have turned out well and I got the desired result. However unless you really need to do this my opinion is don't. It took a heck of alot of time, effort, and creative speech to get this job done. The factory packing doesn't just slip out it comes out in pieces and my end piece would not budge an inch, which meant I had to come at it from the other end and I ended up breaking off the inner screen. The crimp in the side of the muffler kills any chance of knocking out the core in that direction. I used 3/16 inch rivets with a grip range of 1/64-1/8, replacing the rivets was the easiest part of the job. Like I said it turned out alright but let's see how the new rivets holds up.
