probably a 152,155 or 158. only you will be able to tell how your bike reacts with different jets.

Make sure your needle position is right.

Don't put the 170 main jet in....it will run way too rich.

If you are running with the airbox lid still in place/unmodified, use a 150 main jet.

If you decide to remove the airbox lid or modify it, step up to a #40 pilot and a #155 main jet.

Like everyone else has said. Don't use the 170mj. That is the jet my 400 had in it when I bought it. It would crap out 3/4 to full throttle. Called Dynojet and they said that the 170 was to rich even with the airbox lid off. They said to warm the bike up and than take the air filter off, run it. If it runs better than drop down a notch on the main jet. I ended up going to a 155 with the airbox lid off. I can still run with the lid on, especially on the hotter days so it will not run to lean.

When I bought my Big Gun they sent me the jetting specs. Call Pro Circuit and see what they say. Also find out if they recomend a K&N or removing the airbox lid. BG recomended both.

A buddy of mine is running a T-4 with a K&N. He claims a 155 main works well.

It depends on your elevation.

A 170 main jet will be too rich no matter what the elevation happens to be.

correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Dyno Jet jets sized differeently than stock jets? What I'm getting at is that a 170 Keihin jet may very well be too rich but a 170 Dyno Jet may be just right? Am I way off base here??

Yeah, quadfamily, you are correct. I heard the same thing...... I don't think they are even close!

dyno jets are bigger then keihin jets. It's just the way they mesure them.
